Often times I am asked how to make my child interact with other kids or how can I teach him functional level socail skills ??So here are three activities that I have designed which you can do between you kid and one other kid 1 Dependency play Making two lists one has 5 items and other has 5 different items items written on it Give it to the child and explain to get those from the basket and give it to the other player and vise versa (other player gives to child )The rule is you have to check if your buddy got the right items written on the list if not let them know what mistake they did 2 Cooperative play One child has grocery list and the other has cart and they both go shoppingOne child reads the list other one picks up the item from the shop and so on 3 Associated play So grab a cereal box and now both kids take turns and make cereal For egOne takes out the cereal box Other puts cereal in it One puts strawberries in it and then next puts the milk and then next puts banana in and the other puts nuts in it and so onHope this tip can help you starting with more involved functional socail skills game .Thank you for your support
