Today I heard the best news of my life I from south Plainfield school district saying
*“Yuvan is no longer eligible for special services and is declassified as student with special needs.”*
Doing advocacy for Shine Avi student Yuvan today brought me the happiest moments of my life which I will cherish forever .
There comes a day in every teacher’s life where they feel happy as their student leaves them and becomes a testament of his/her teacher’s dedication and support .
Yuvan you proved it to the world that sometimes practical experience can be more stronger than degrees and lisences for teaching a special needs kid .
Plz join me in congratulating Shine Avi student Yuvan and his family for the happiness that every special needs family looks forward to .
Yuvan has been attending our program for little over a year and has made us all proud with getting totally into general education class without any support .
This would not have been made possible without the support of his parents who make sure Yuvan is able to get best services and support that he needed to reach his full potential .
Ajitha who is Yuvan’s mom every day reminded me of how for a special needs mother nothing takes priority over her child’s needs .
Naveen Yuvan’s father supporting and trusting his wife for the decision she takes for her son is commendable.
Both parents trusting me as a mentor and specially when I have no degrees or credentials in the special education field makes me feel so proud and thankful .
We wish Yuvan good luck in all that comes his way in the future .
